TVIB — Sound & Vibration Analysis Software

TVIB is modular. You buy the base, and you add only the modules your work needs — order tracking when you’re tearing into rotating-equipment diagnostics, FRF when you’re doing modal, sound-level when you’re chasing acoustic limits. The base module (TSAP201) ships free with every PhonoVibe DAQ.

TSLM 204	Sound Level Meter	A / C / Z-weighted SPL, Leq, Lmax — for environmental and product-acoustic work.
TIST 205	Signal Generator / Impact Shaker	Drive a shaker for impact, sine, chirp, random tests. Built-in calibrator.
TFRT	FRF Test	Frequency-response measurement — drive point, transfer path, modal pre-processing.
TOA 207 / 208	Octave Analyzer	1/1, 1/3, 1/6, 1/12 octave bands. Useful for acoustic NDT and machinery octave alarms.
TB 210	Balancing	Single-plane and two-plane field balancing with phase correction.
MODALVIEW	ODS & EMA	Operating Deflection Shapes and Experimental Modal Analysis (add-on package).

TSAP201 in more detail

TSAP201 is what most users start and stay with. Specs:

• 2-channel operation with sample rate, sample count, and bit-depth selection
• Time wave and narrowband FFT up to 102,400 points
• Independent channel calibration and scaling (separate views per channel)
• Scaling presets: accelerometers, microphones, force sensors, voltage
• FIR and IIR filters
• Channel triggers (pre / post, hysteresis)
• Averaging: exponential, linear, peak hold, with selectable windowing
• Harmonic, band, and sideband cursors in both time and frequency domain
• Acceleration → velocity → displacement integration
• Linear, log, and dB scaling with axis annotation
• Signal recording and post-processing

TVIB is not locked to TIERA hardware. Tested and supported with:

Licensing

Two options:

• Web-based key — software-bound, requires online activation. Easiest path.
• Dongle (USB) — PC-independent, physical key. Useful for offline labs or shared workstations. Note: lost dongles typically require repurchase since the software is already heavily discounted.

Module upgrades: AMC customers pay only for the new modules. Non-AMC customers pay for all modules plus the dongle cost — treated as a fresh purchase. Email licensing@tieraonline.in for activation, upgrades, or transfers.
