The PhonoVibe Eco X puts a complete signal chain on a single bench. Instead of sourcing a DAQ, amplifier, shaker, and sensors separately — and integrating them — the Eco X ships ready to run: connect USB to a laptop, connect power, mount a test structure, and you are measuring.
The 4-channel 24-bit DAQ section is the same IEPE front-end as the rest of the PhonoVibe family, running at 48 kHz with 2 Hz to 20 kHz measurement bandwidth. The integrated 20 N electrodynamic shaker covers modal excitation of lab-scale structures, beams, plates, and small machine components. A 150 W amplifier is built in, driven directly from the PC via the TIST 205 signal generator module.
The sensor starter pack includes a 100 mV/g IEPE accelerometer and a 25 mV/N impact hammer — enough to run a complete FRF measurement in either shaker or hammer mode from day one.
Configurations
Two bundle options — a base DAQ + shaker unit, or a fully-kitted bench with amp, TVIB software, and a sensor pack. See the TIERA store for current pricing.
Optional MODALVIEW software enables Operating Deflection Shape (ODS) and Experimental Modal Analysis (EMA) directly from the Eco X — suitable for undergraduate modal analysis courses and consultant field work.
Who uses it
- Universities running modal-analysis lab courses
- TCAT training centres needing a self-contained demo rig
- Reliability engineers who need a portable excitation + capture system
- R&D teams validating FRF models on prototype structures
Pairs with:
- PhonoVibe Series — full family overview and model comparison
- TVIB Software — TSAP 201 + TIST 205 bundled; MODALVIEW optional add-on
- TMFSS Macro — complement the Eco X with a rotating-machinery fault simulator
